The nineth batch of 64 young women (yuvatis) from across India completed their four-month training at the BAPS Yuvati Talim Kendra (Yuvati Training Centre) at Randesan, near Gandhinagar in Gujarat. The convocation ceremony was held in the presence of invited guests, members of the BAPS Mahila Madhyasta Karyalay, parents of the yuvatis and the students of BAPS Swaminarayan Vidya Mandir.
The graduating yuvatis were awarded their certificates by chief guest Smt. Nehaba Pravinsinh Parmar, the Assistant Commissioner of Labour, Ahmedabad. She is also a devotee from the BAPS Sanstha, and has previously served as a balika karyakar.
The convocation assembly was themed ‘Viyogma YTK no Yog, e Yogno Sadupyog’. The program featured interviews of yuvatis who shared their experiences and a quiz that presented what they have learnt from the training and the changes it has brought to their personal satsang.
