Over 250 devotees attended the Shilanyas Mahotsav for the new BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir and Community Centre in Canberra, the capital of Australia. The devotees participated in the Vedic mahapuja led by Paramchintandas Swami and other swamis.
Among the dignitaries present for the auspicious occasion were the High Commissioner of India Mr. Manpreet Vohra, Mrs. Naseem Vohra, and Mr. Deepak-Raj Gupta.
After receiving Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj’s blessings via video, everyone placed sanctified bricks in the foundation pit.
