On 19 September 2022 (Bhadarva vad 9), Mahant Swami Maharaj’s 89th birthday celebration was held at Akshar Farm, Anand-Vidyanagar, in the presence of thousands of devotees from the Charotar region and abroad. In Swamishri’s morning puja, swamis and youths sang bhajans related to the life of Mahant Swami Maharaj.
At 5.30 p.m., the main birthday celebration commenced at Akshar Farm, themed on a letter written by Mahant Swami Maharaj on how to celebrate Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s centenary celebration. After the customary dhun and kirtan, the assembly theme unfolded through a series of speeches by swamis and sadguru swamis, describing the virtues of Pramukh Swami Maharaj and Mahant Swami Maharaj.

Mantra-Pushpanjali ritual to honour Mahant Swami Maharaj and thereafter the sadguru and senior swamis offered garlands. Then, Swamishri inaugurated an audio bhajan publication by Swaminarayan Aksharpith. Finally, arti was performed by all.
