The Dashabdi (10th Anniversary) Mahotsav of the BAPS Mandir, Melbourne, in the presence of BAPS swamis, featured a Vedic mahapuja in which devotees offered prayers for peace and well-being to prevail everywhere. This was followed by an assembly in which included a traditional dance by children and a multimedia presentation recounting the history and activities of the mandir. Community leaders, devotees and well-wishers attended the celebration.
Invited guests included the local member of parliament and Shadow Minister for Multicultural Affairs, Mr. Craig Ondarchie. He commended the spiritual and social activities conducted by BAPS in Melbourne over the past decade and the positive impact of the BAPS children and youth activities in the local community.
