Under the auspices of the Pramukh Swami Maharaj Centenary Celebrations, over 1,600 BAPS families at centers in Australia and New Zealand celebrated guruhari Mahant Swami Maharaj’s 88th birthday at their homes, either by inviting friends and releatives or with their families, depending on local pandemic restrictions.
The celebrations, based on the agenda provided by national team, included: decorating their homes, performing sacred rituals to honor Bhagwan Swaminarayan and the Guru Parampara, conducting a janmotsav assembly of bhajans and speeches, and offering an annakut.
