Over 1,200 doses of the Covid-19 vaccination have been delivered at an NHS run pop-up vaccination clinic on the grounds of BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Chigwell.
To support the British government’s vaccination rollout, the mandir provided its car park facility to house the vaccination site run by NHS West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group. The clinic operated weekly on Sundays from 25 July to 22 August 2021 to offer local residents either their first or second jab.
Chirag Patel, lead volunteer at the Mandir, shared, “We are pleased to have been able to support the national vaccination drive by hosting the pop-up clinic on the mandir campus. We remain committed to supporting local health leaders in their efforts going forward.”
