On the afternoon of Saturday, 1 May 2021, the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi arranged its second COVID-19 relief shipment to India. The supplies included the first two cryogenic tanks filled with liquid oxygen (LOX), which were ceremonially worshiped with flowers and prayers. These special vacuum insulated tanks are custom-built to safely carry liquid oxygen at -185 C (-300 F) in accordance with international safety standards. Swami Brahmaviharidas, along with UAE donors and supporters, visited the premises of Global Gases Group, where founder and CEO Shri Deepak Mehta and his team personally showed and explained the complete process of filling and all the safety measures being ensured. Ramesh Ramakrishnan, Chairman of the Transworld Group, has been instrumental in planning the meticulous logistics to get aid to the patients in India as soon as possible. The timely and exceptional services of both Global Gases and Transworld Group are playing a pivotal role in supplying medical oxygen and many other medical aids regularly arranged by the BAPS Hindu Mandir and its team of selfless volunteers.
