On Friday 28 May 2021, BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Havant celebrated 15 years since its opening in 2006.
As a part of the anniversary celebration, a devout annakut offering was made to the murtis in the main shrine – Shri Akshar-Purushottam Maharaj, Shri Radha-Krishna, Shri Sita-Rama and Hanumanji, Shri Shiva-Parvati and Ganeshji, and the Guru Parampara.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, darshan was open for private prayer only between 2.00pm and 6.00pm under strict Covid-safe guidelines.
At 7.00pm, the sandhya arti was relayed live online, after which Prabuddhmuni Swami delivered an online discourse on the mandir’s history, meaning and spiritual signficance.
