In the grounds of the BAPS Mandir in Nairobi, the resident swamis and some devotees honored nature by performing the Vedic pujan of a tulsi plant, kadali and avocado trees, as well as mango trees planted by gurus Pramukh Swami Maharaj and Mahant Swami Maharaj.
In the presence of Shri Harikrishna Maharaj, the swamis and devotees recited the Shanti Path, applied chandlos to the plants, performed the arti and prayed for the protection of the environment.
