At 20 BAPS centers throughout Australia and New Zealand, a total of 942 balaks, balikas, kishores and kishoris participated in this year’s adhiveshan themed ‘Thaiye Swami Jeva: Dharma – Follow Him’.
The youngsters memorized scriptural excerpts relating to the Akshar Purushottam Upasana, and also participated in painting, essay writing and Vachanamrut elaboration competitions.
For the past four months the participants had prepared, practiced and memorized for the adhiveshan, especially using their summer holidays.
At each center, the day began with an assembly to highlight the benefits of the adhiveshan and that by participating they have attained the blessings of Mahant Swami Maharaj. Thereafter, the participants were judged in the various competitions by senior karyakars of the various centers.
