At a time when the most important duty of each citizen is to maintain social distancing to help contain the spread of the coronavirus, BAPS has responded to government requests for assistance to care for the needy.
BAPS sadhus and volunteers have served in various ways, as requested by local municipal leaders.
In Silvassa, to support the Silvassa Municipal Corporation in their safety drive, around 40 BAPS volunteers went to shops and street vendors to inform them about the precautions and safety measures necessary during this critical period.
Under the guidance and inspiration of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha will continue to provide such assistance to help the needy during this challenging period.
