The sixth batch of 115 young women (yuvatis) from across India completed their four-month training at the BAPS Yuvati Talim Kendra (Yuvati Training Centre) at Randesan, near Gandhinagar in Gujarat. The convocation ceremony was held on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra in the presence of invited guests, parents of the yuvatis and the students of BAPS Swaminarayan Vidya Mandir. The graduating yuvatis were awarded their certificates by chief guest Smt. Giraben Patel, Chairperson of Shri Vitthal Kanya Kelavni Mandal, Nadiad.
The theme of convocation assembly was ‘Ya Hom Thaiye’ (Let Us Dedicate Fully), with a special emphasis on the importance of social etiquettes whilst doing seva and how this training instils the values of samp, suhradbhav and ekta. The assembly featured skits, interviews, dances, and a video presentation of the training and how it has impacted the yuvatis.
