A total of 95 youths from this year’s first batch of the BAPS Yuva Talim Kendra undertook vicharan to 187 villages in Gujarat.
Divided in 23 groups, each of four youths, they visited a total of 2,673 homes, inspiring young and old devotees to perform daily personal puja, visit the local mandir for darshan, attend the weekly satsang assembly, daily read the Vachanamrut and Swamini Vato, conduct a regular gharsabha (family assembly), observe a fast on ekadashi, etc.
The youths conducted 187 satsang assemblies, 125 children’s assemblies and 28 assemblies in schools – in which over 5,900 children participated.
They arranged evening ‘bhakti feris’ in which over 4,400 devotees participated. In addition, they encouraged around 830 people to shed their addictions.
