Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing away of Pujya Swami Vimalanandji. We were truly saddened to hear about the worldly departure of such a great sadhu. Pujya Swami Vimalanandji possessed the hallmarks of a true saint. He was a very humble and God-loving sadhu who lived a life of simplicity, austerity and spirituality.
Pujya Swami Vimalanandji had met Pramukh Swami Maharaj on several occasions and had tremendous affection for him. In fact, BAPS sadhus had met with Swamiji a few days back and Swamiji shared some of his fondest memories with Pramukh Swami Maharaj. BAPS sadhus and devotees still remember when Swamiji visited Swaminarayan Akshardham, New Delhi, and had stated that Akshardham was an ATM – an Any Time Meditation place.
Swami Vimalanandji lived a pious and God-centric life. His most heartfelt prayer was to be chanting ‘Narayan’ in his last moments. The passing of Swamiji is not only a loss for the Divine Life Society, but for all of humanity.
Our innermost prayers go out to all of sadhus, ashramites and followers of the Divine Life Society. May you all continue to carry forward the torch of spirituality lit by Pujya Swami Vimalanandji.
