Swaminarayan Akshardham in New Delhi participated in the 2019 Earth Hour on March 30. This global movement, which began in 2007, asks landmark buildings throughout the world to turn off non-essential lights for one hour in an act of solidarity and as a call to action to better the environment and prioritize the preservation of nature.
