Over 210 ladies participated in the Shri Swaminarayan Jayanti celebrations in Bengali held by the Women’s Wing of BAPS Kolkata. The inspiring evening program was based on the theme ‘Sarvopari Shri Hari’ – ‘Supreme Shri Hari’ portrayed the life, works and wisdom of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, and his continuing legacy on this earth through the Gunatit Satpurush. Bhagwan Swaminarayan captured the hearts of people from all walks of life and taught them how to live a righteous and moral life.
The program highlighted how Bhagwan Swaminarayan continues to inspire the lives of people even today, over 200 years later. The women displayed their affection and understanding of Bhagwan Swaminarayan’s life through speeches, bhajans, dances, a skit, and a grand welcome for the murti of Bhagwan Swaminarayan in a beautifully decorated palkhi. The assembly concluded with the video darshan of Mahant Swami Maharaj.
