As part of this year’s 150th anniversary celebrations of the sacred Akshar Deri in Gondal, over 150,000 devotees attended the one-day ‘Brahmasatra’ shibirs elaborating on the history and glory of the Akshar Deri. The shibirs were held in a total of 50 BAPS centres throughout Gujarat, Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune and Chennai, and at each location, one or two sadhus spoke from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on various aspects of the shibir theme.
