The year 2016 (Samvat 2072) marks the 100th anniversary of Sarangpur Mandir. During the 10-day grand celebrations, which began on May 4 and will end with a grand spiritual assembly on May 13, different events are celebrated each evening in the divine presence of Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
On this evening, Swamishri initiated 25 parshads into the sadhu order. Of them, one has an MBA, one holds a masters degree, one is a pharmacist, nine are engineers, six are science graduates, and five hold a bachelors degree in commerce and economics. Ten of the initiates were raised and educated in America, England, and Australia. Moreover. Seven of the parshads are the only sons of their parents.
Swamishri has truly inspired a higher way of life for these successful young individuals, a life that is completely dedicated to God and society.
