The Murti-Prathistha Mahotsav of BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Piplagabhan, was held on 31-01-2016 and attended by hundreds of devotees. The celebrations began on 30-01-2016 with Vishwa Shanti Mahayagna in which 354 couples took part. This was followed by a Nagar Yatra of the murtis to be consecrated in beautiful decorated floats through the main streets. More than 1200 devotees took part in the festivities.
On 31-01-2016 Ghanshyamcharan Swami consecrated the murtis in their respective shrines as per Vedic rituals. The mahotsav concluded with the blessings of Ghanshyamcharan Swami.
