BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Brisbane, commenced their Mahila Wing's first sabha with the celebration of the 233rd birth anniversary of Bhagwan Swaminarayan on Chaitra Sud Nom, which is also the birth tithi of Bhagwan Ram. The Celebration centred on the theme of “Param Ekantik Aavya”, presenting the practical application of Dharma, Gnan, Vairagya and Bhakti.
The program included skits with entertaining characters and talks, and were attended by around a hundred devotees. Inspired performances by balikas, kishoris, yuvatis and senior ladies kept the atmosphere of devotion and celebration festive while affording a closer look at the compassionate nature of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and the virtues of a devotee worthy of this compassion.
