Fagan Park, Hornsby, was the venue for a family picnic and sports day organised for devotees by BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Sydney, on 22 June 2014. Over 400 devotees of all ages participated in the event through activities like volleyball, football, tug-of-war and various races.
Devotees took turns in a padyatra, carrying the Murti of Shri Harikrishna Maharaj around the park in a decorated palanquin.
A satsang sabha was organised at the park, in which many devotees shared their personal journeys on how they were introduced to satsang and the positive influence that satsang has provided in their lives.
