BAPS Yuvak mandal, Nakuru, Kenya, organised its first 6-a-side cricket tournament this year. A total of 14 teams were invited to take part in this tournament, which included 3 teams of non-BAPS youth from Nakuru. Many spectators gathered to witness the tournament, which was organised on a knock-out basis - so any team that lost one match was out of the tournament.
The BAPS teams were named Narayan, Sahjanand, Swaminarayan, Pramukh, Yogi, Akshar, Prayosha, Shayona, Nilkanth, Swamibapa and Ghanshyam.
The winning team that lifted the “Pramukh Cup” was RVSC, while the runners-up were Alis Academy. All players from both these teams were given individual trophies. Lunch was served to everyone after the tournament.
