On 13th Feb, 2013, volunteers from BAPS Shree Swaminarayan Mandir, Dar-es-Salaam visited Malaika Orphanage.
All the children received individual packets containing food and other essential items which included biscuits, juice, toothpaste, toothbrushes etc. Other food supplies like rice, beans, soap, tea, and other items were also donated to the home. In addition, new slides and swings were designed and built by BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha and handed over to the orphanage on this day.
BAPS Shree Swaminarayan Mandir, Dar-Es-Salaam, and its volunteers have been regular donors to this orphanage and have been personally visiting it to stay in touch with the children here.
Malaika Orphanage's caretaker Ms. Najma and the children were overjoyed and thanked the volunteers wholeheartedly for these donations.
