Chaturmaas is a holy period of four months in the Hindu calendar during which devotees undertake additional religious observances. The month of Shravan is considered the holiest of the four and during this period, parayans (scriptural discourses) are held at BAPS mandirs and centres around the world, including across UK and in Europe.

This year, learned sadhus from India – Narendraprasad Swami (Acharya Swami) and Shrutiprakash Swami – presided over many of these discourses and offered their wisdom on a variety of topics, providing both theological insight and practical guidance.

Hundreds of devotees attended the parayans and once again felt spiritually enriched by these annual events.
