To mark the 60th year of the BAPS Youth Wing established by Brahmaswarup Yogiji Maharaj in 1952, a special padyatra was organised by BAPS Yuvak Mandal, Sydney, on Saturday 9th June 2012.
Close to 200 devotees, both male and female, from different age groups participated in the 8 kilometer padyatra from Rosehill (the site of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Sydney, currently under construction) to Girraween (Thakorji’s current residence) with great spiritual enthusiasm.
Devotees walked from Rosehill to Girraween and after performing darshan, were served with snacks and drinks.
