BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha’s volunteers gathered food and essential items to donate at the CCBRT Hospital in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania. The items were distributed on March 30, 2012, in the hospital’s Children’s Orthopedic Ward, Children’s Ward, and to other patients as well as to the hospital for further distribution.
The items given included food such as biscuits, juice, mineral water, chocolates and candies; items of personal hygeine such as soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes; and preventive essentials such as mosquito nets.
The CCBRT Hospital’s deputy director, Mr. Tom Vanneste, thanked BAPS and its volunteers for these donations.
