On 24 March 2012 over 350 yuvaks, 450 yuvatis and 100 volunteers participated in the 14 kilometer Padyatra in Mumbai organized under the auspices of the BAPS Youth Activities 60th Year Celebrations.
The colorful procession began at 3.40 p.m. from the Directiplex Complex in Andheri, where the yuvaks’ section was flagged off by the Mayor of Mumbai, Shri Sunil Prabhu, and the yuvatis’ section was flagged off by Corporator Shrimati Sandhyatai Yadav. The parade featured two decorated floats, youths performing cultural folk dances, and the singing of bhajans and dhun by all.
The youths arrived at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Dadar at 7.20 p.m.
