More than 25 BAPS devotees from Singapore participated in the 3-day shibir from 2-4 April 2010 at Sebana Cove Resort, Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The shibir was based on the theme, ‘Chaar Vaat Jivnu Jivan’ in which Vivekpriya Swami and a group of four sadhus spoke on the topics of agna, upasana, suhradbhav and ekantikma priti.
There were also interactive sessions along with inspiring videos and group discussions on topics such as ghar sabha and nurturing children for a better future. The shibir gave the devotees an informative and practical insight into these important aspects of satsang.
Many devotees pledged to perform daily puja, apply tilak-chandlo, hold ghar sabha and regularly attend the weekly satsang sabha. The shibir also helped to reinforce a spirit of samp, surahdaybhav and ekta amongst all.
A satsang sabha was also organized on Sunday 28 March 2010 at the Ceylon Road Temple Hall which attracted around 200 devotees from all over Singapore.
