On August 05, 2007, with the divine blessings of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Parsippany was inaugurated with grandeur and jubilation. Satsang started with bimonthly sabha in 1988, developed into regular weekly sabha in 1994 and by the inspiration of Pramukh Swami Maharaj today devotees were overjoyed to participate in the festivities of the mandir inauguration.
On August 04, 2007, Pramukh Swami Maharaj performed the puja and arti of the murtis to be installed at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Edison. On the Pratishtha day, Pujya Tyagvallabh Swami, Pujya Ishwarcharan Swami, Pujya Viveksagar Swami, Pujya Atmaswaroop Swami were present for the inaugural ceremonies. The ceremony began with the traditional mahapuja followed by the murti pratishtha ceremony in which the murtis of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and Aksharbrahma Gunatitanand Swami, Shri Radha-Krishna, Guru Parampara, Shri Sita-Ram-Hanumanji, and Shri Shiv-Parvati-Ganeshji were consecrated. Thereafter, all devotees got to enjoy a spectacular annakut prepared by the Parsippany ladies wing.
Along with devotees from all over the region, devotees from UK, Australia, Africa and India joined the celebration. The event culminated by blessings from all the sadguru santos present in the assembly.
