On 10 July 2005, devotees celebrated the Rath Yatra Festival at the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Sydney, Australia.
The Lord Mayor of the City of Parramatta, Councillor David Borger, and other local dignitaries attended the celebration.
In the celebration assembly, youths sang bhajans to commemorate the festival and there were speeches by senior devotees highlighting the significance of the Rath Yatra festival.
In conclusion, the murti of Thakorji was paraded in a chariot (rath) as per the traditionas of this auspicious day.
