From 17 to 21 February 2003, the Government of India's "India Trade Promotion Organisation" (ITPO) organized an exhibition of Indian business in Moscow. Organized under the guidance of Shri Vasudevanan, organisations promoting traditional Indian cultural and moral values were also invited to participate and present displays. Held at the Forum Pavilion Expo Centre of the Krasnaya Presnya Exhibition Complex, the BAPS were invited to participate in this Indian Trade Exhibition and were allocated a sizeable area to present an appropriate exhibition.
Hence, a colorful and attractive exhibition of large posters were prepared in Russian conveying the external messages of Indian culture, history and spirituality, as well as the socio-spiritual activities of BAPS under the guidance and inspiration of Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj. In addition, displaying India's ayurvedic tradition, BAPS Swaminarayan Herbal Care also exhibited a large variety of ayurvedic medicines. For the first time ever, all BAPS displays were in Russian. Special introductory color pamphlets explaining Indian Culture and describing the Sanstha's activities were also printed in Russian. Manning this exhibition, despite the difficulties of language, food and cold weather, were two of the Sanstha's dedicated volunteers - Shri Janak Dave and Shri Hetal Desai. Throughout the 5-day exhibition, many visitors were interested, impressed and enlightened by the BAPS display its message and activities.
