Over 600 selected men and women karyakars from thoughout the UK participated in the National Karyakar Adhiveshan on 14 and 15 September 2002, in the presence of Pujya Kothari Bhaktipriya Swami.
The participants entered in one of three categories: basic, medium and advanced. In all the categories, participants were required to prepare prathmik mukhpath, speeches, explanations on Vachanamruts and Swamini Vatos and prasang manan. For the advanced category, participants had to prepare explanations of episodes from the Harililamrut and Bhaktachintamani.
All the participants had worked hard for several months preparing thoroughly. This was reflected in the high standard of performance. Prize-winners were presented with beautiful trophies and exquisite gold-embossed framed certificates.
