વિદ્યાનગર છાત્રાલયમાં રહેતો કુણાલ ધકાણ ઘરેથી આવતાં ગઈકાલે પૂજા ભૂલી ગયો હતો. એટલે આખા દિવસનો ઉપવાસ કર્યો હતો. આજે વળી એકાદશી હતી. એટલે આજે પણ એને નિયમ પ્રમાણે નિર્જળ ઉપવાસ કરવાનો હતો. સ્વામીશ્રીને આ વાતની જાણ થતાં કહ્યું : ‘પૂજા આવી ગઈ છે, તો હવે કરી લેજે અને આજે ફરાળ કરી લેજે.’

The Means to Transcend Maya
“… Thus, the means to transcend mãyã is as follows: When the jiva comes into contact with the manifest form of Shri Purushottam Bhagwãn – who is beyond mãyã and who is the destroyer of mãyã and all karmas – or the Sant who has attained that God, then by accepting their refuge, the jiva can transcend mãyã.”
