બ્રહ્મસ્વરૂપ પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજની પ્રેરક પ્રસંગ-સ્મૃતિઓ
અમેરિકાથી એક બાળકનો ફોન આવ્યો. એણે વાત કરતાં કહ્યું : ‘મારે નિષ્કપટ થવું છે.’
સ્વામીશ્રી કહે : ‘વાત કર.’
એ બાળક કહે : ‘હું સ્કૂલમાં ભણું છું. ત્યાં મારા મિત્રે મને એવી વાત કરી કે ધર્મ પાળવાથી કોઈ ફાયદો ન થાય. એટલે મેં મારા બચતકુંભમાંથી પૈસા લઈ લીધા અને સ્કૂલમાં એનો નાસ્તો કર્યો, પણ મારી ભૂલ મને સમજાય છે.’
સ્વામીશ્રી કહે : ‘ભગવાન ભૂલ માફ કરશે. આપણે ઘરમાંથી કે બહાર ચોરી કરવી જ નહીં. હવે ફરીથી આવું કરતો નહીં. એક ઉપવાસ કરી લેજે અને ફરી આવું ન થાય તે માટે જાણપણું રાખજે.’

When Maya can Disturb and not Disturb a Person
"… Similarly, mãyã, in the form of the antahkaran, would never entertain a desire to daunt a person who has a firm refuge in God. Rather, it would help his bhakti to flourish. However, mãyã does deflect a person who has a slight deficiency in his refuge in God and does cause him misery. Then, when that person develops a complete refuge in God, mãyã is not able to disturb him or cause him pain. Therefore, the answer is that if a person has such complete faith in God, mãyã is not capable of causing him misery."
