ક્ષૌરકર્મ દરમ્યાન લતીપુરા ગામની વાત નીકળતાં સ્વામીશ્રી કહે : ‘પહેલાં એક સોમભાઈ હતા. એ અત્યારે છે કે નહીં ?’ આમ, જૂના હરિભક્તને સ્વામીશ્રીએ યાદ કર્યા. જોકે અત્યારે વિચરણ કરતા નવી પેઢીના સંતોને સોમભાઈનો કશો ખ્યાલ હતો નહીં; પરંતુ વર્ષો જૂના હરિભક્તોનાં નામ સ્વામીશ્રીની જીભના ટેરવે કેવા આદરપૂર્વક રમે છે, તેનો સૌને પરિચય થયો.
