લંડનથી જાણીતા યુવા સ્વયંસેવક અકુ પટેલનો ફોન આવ્યો. લંડનના સંતો ભારત સ્વામીશ્રીનાં દર્શને આવ્યા ત્યારે સ્વામીશ્રીએ સહેજે સહેજે જ અકુને યાદ કરીને ‘તેઓનાં ધંધાપાણી કેવાં ચાલે છે ?’ એ સંબંધી પૂછપરછ કરી હતી. આ વાત અકુને મળતાં કૃતજ્ઞભાવે એણે સામેથી સ્વામીશ્રીને ફોન કરીને કહ્યું : ‘આપ અમારી બહુ સંભાળ રાખો છો. સંતો આગળ મને યાદ કર્યો એટલે આ ફોન કર્યો છે. આપની દયાથી ધંધો સારો ચાલે છે. આપે દયા કરીને બધું ગોઠવી દીધું છે. તન, મન, ધનથી સેવામાં જોડાઈ જઈએ એવું કરજો.’

A renunciant devotee should
“… Therefore, a renunciant devotee of God should realise his own chaitanya to be distinct from both the body and the relatives of the body. He should believe, ‘I am the ãtmã; I have no relations at all with anyone.’ In fact, the relatives of this body should be considered together with the relatives of the 8.4 million types of previous life forms…”
