બ્રહ્મસ્વરૂપ પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજની પ્રેરક પ્રસંગ-સ્મૃતિઓ

અમેરિકાથી પ્રાયોરિટી મેઇલ લખેલ એક મોટું કવર આવ્યું હતું. આ કવરમાં ફક્ત બે પાનાંનો છૂટો કાગળ હતો. આ કાગળ જોઈને સ્વામીશ્રી કહે : ‘કાગળ તો નાનો છે અને કવર કેટલું મોટું કર્યું છે ?’
ધર્મચરણ સ્વામીએ કવરની ઉપરની પોસ્ટની સ્લિપ બતાવીને કહ્યું : ‘આ બે પાનાં મોકલવાનાં લગભગ 14 ડૉલર થયા છે.’
સ્વામીશ્રી કહે : ‘આટલા નાના કાગળ માટે આટલો બધો ખર્ચ શું લેવા કરે છે ? શું જરૂર હતી ? બીજી રીતે ન મોકલાય ?’

Result of Having a Grudge with Devotees
“… However, if one is hurt by the words of devotees of God – as if one has been shot in the heart by some arrows – and if a grudge develops from that hatred to such an extent that it is not resolved as long as one lives, then such a person is like an outcast. Even if such a person possesses virtues such as dharma and renunciation or performs austerities, it is all worthless. In fact, even if he endeavours in a million other ways, his jiva will not attain liberation.”
