બ્રહ્મસ્વરૂપ પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજની પ્રેરક પ્રસંગ-સ્મૃતિઓ

એક હરિભક્ત ખૂબ મોટા ઉદ્યોગપતિ છે. તેઓ સત્સંગી હોવા છતાં વરસો પહેલાં બધું જ કાર્ય તાંત્રિકને પૂછી પૂછીને કરતા હતા અને એને કારણે તાંત્રિક કરોડોપતિ થઈ ગયો હતો. સ્વામીશ્રીને આ વાતનો ખ્યાલ આવતાં સ્વામીશ્રીએ એક વખત બોલાવીને આશરા અને નિષ્ઠાની તેઓને ખૂબ જ દૃઢતા કરાવી. એને કારણે તેઓએ બધી જ તાંત્રિક વિધિઓ મૂકી દીધી. આજે સ્વામીશ્રીને તેઓ કહે : ‘તાંત્રિક વિધિ મૂક્યા પછી ધંધો ડબલ થઈ ગયો.’
સ્વામીશ્રીએ તેઓના ગળામાં હાથ ફેરવતાં કહ્યું : ‘આ કંઠી છે એ સોનાનાં... સોનાનાં... સોનાનાં... સોનાનાં... ઘરેણાં કરતાં પણ મોટાંમાં મોટું ઘરેણું છે.’

How Can a Devotee Remain Eternally Happy?
Thereupon Shriji Mahãrãj asked the munis, “How can a devotee of God remain eternally happy?” The senior sãdhus replied according to their understanding, but then Shriji Maharaj Himself said, "The answer is that a devotee of God who, firstly, has firm vairagya; who, secondly, has extremely firm swadharma; who has gained control over all of his indriyas by these two means; who has intense love for God and His Bhakta; who has a close friendship with God and His Bhakta; who never becomes indifferent towards God and His Bhakta; and who is pleased only by the company of God and His Bhakta, but does not like the company of a non-believer - remains eternally happy in this realm and beyond."
