સવારે મંદિરના વ્યવહારની વાત નીકળી. યોગીજી મહારાજે જૂની વાતો સંભારતાં કહ્યું, 'મને શાસ્ત્રીજી મહારાજે કહેલું તમારે મહાપૂજા કરાવવી. એમની આજ્ઞાથી ગોંડલની મહાપૂજા કરાવું છું. હું સો માણસની રસોઈ એકલો કરતો. વાસણ ઊટકું, અનાજ સાફ કરું, બધી સેવા હું કરું. કુબેરભાઈ કહેતા, 'જોગી આટલી સેવા કરે પણ પોતા માટે એક ધાબળી ન માંગે.' એટલે કુબેરભાઈને બહુ ગુણ. મેં મારે માટે કાંઈ માગ્યું નથી. ઠાકોરજી માટે માંગું છું' બધાં મંદિરો પ્રત્યે સમદૃષ્ટિ અને સેવા સાથે નિઃસ્પૃહીપણું રાખવા સ્વામીશ્રીએ સમજાવ્યું.

Those Who Survive in Satsang only until they are Confronted by an Adverse Situation
Nityãnand Swãmi then asked, "Someone may identify his self with the body and may be attracted to the panchvishays as well; yet he seems to survive in the Satsang fellowship. How can this be explained?"
Shriji Mahãrãj replied, "He survives in Satsang only as long as he is not confronted by an adverse situation. If a great sãdhu or God were to denounce his egotism, cravings for taste, avarice, lust, anger or his belief that he is the body, then he would surely develop contempt for that sãdhu. Then he would certainly malign him and thus fall from Satsang…"
