Sarangpur
To Sadhus, Parshads, Sadhaks and Devotees of BAPS,
Param Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s health condition has been fluctuating over the last month. Currently Param Pujya Swamishri is undergoing treatment for a chest infection and is gradually improving.
Since Param Pujya Swamishri’s gall bladder surgery in 1981 to date, he has endured many illnesses including a heart attack, as well as undergoing major bypass surgery, which along with age have naturally caused weakness and decreased immunity. In view of his advanced age of 92 years, cardiac history and general frail health, progress is expected to be slow whenever he falls ill. To prevent further infection, doctors have advised Swamishri to not go outside for darshan at the present time.
Swamishri has clearly and emphatically expressed his wish that all treatment should continue in Sarangpur itself, and he has no wish to leave Sarangpur for any other place.
Here in Sarangpur, all his medical needs are being taken care of around the clock under the close supervision of a team of specialist doctors with all appropriate modern medical facilities. As and when necessary, expert advice is also being sought from various other specialists. Full efforts are being made to treat Swamishri’s prevailing medical condition.
We request that all sadhus and devotees offer dhun with prayers, either personally, during satsang sabhas or in ghar sabhas, so that Swamishri makes a quick recovery and soon gives darshan labh.
