“Learning never exhausts the mind” said Leonardo da Vinci. This feeling was evident in the enthusiasm of over a thousand children that attended the Beginners’ Challenge – the first of many competitions in the UK Bal-Balika Mandal’s national Kidz Ultimate Challenge (KUC).

Balaks and balikas from BAPS Satsang Mandal, Paris visited BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, London from Wednesday 18 April to Tuesday 24 April 2012 on a week-long Satsang-enhancing trip.

From 26 March to 7 April 2012, 25 children and 10 youths from BAPS centers in the UAE visited India for their first ever ‘Mandir Darshan Yatra’.

With the aim of strengthening the bond between mothers and daughters, the assembly began with a mahapuja conducted by balikas. Mothers and daughters sat side-by-side during this Vedic prayer ceremony, designed to foster peace and unity in the family in a calming atmosphere.

It was an inspiring induction day for Bal and Balika Mandal in Leicester. Through real-life examples and a deep understanding of the way children think, Manoharmurti Swami was able to provide an eye-opening experience for many of the parents who attended.

The UK Bal-Balika Mandal launched the Kidz Ultimate Challenge (KUC) with a grand inauguration programme in the presence of Sadguru Pujya Mahant Swami.

Around 90 balaks and balikas,together with 25 bal and balika karyakars,from Southern African BAPS centers articipated in the Regional Bal-Balika Shibir.
