BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Nairobi, Kenya, organised a special overnight trip for the kishore mandal to a tea farm in Limuru, a town near Nairobi.

The first ever kishore indoor soccer tournament in the Asia Pacific region – Yogi Cup 2013 - took place on Sunday 19 May.

The Mandir, which is located in a multi-cultural neighbourhood in suburban western Sydney, has enjoyed support from its neighbours for over a decade. A Neighbourhood Open Day was held on Saturday 18 May 2013 to encourage neighbours to visit the mandir and know more about it.

Organized by the Satsang Activities Central Office in Ahmedabad, two five-day Yuva Jnansatras provided spiritual stimulation to over 2,000 youths from throughout Gujarat and Mumbai.

In February, 2002, Param Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj had performed the murti pratistha vidhi of BAPS Shree Swaminarayan Mandir, Sydney, Australia. With time as satsang grew the need arose for a larger Mandir.

The tournament offered tremendous enthusiasm, competitiveness and some shock results in the early stages, but above all it provided fun, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout.
