Emergency Department

Our Emergency Department located of the first floor, is designed to function as a Level-l Trauma Centre, handing the most critical of patient. It has the ability to handle a cross section of emergencies-children as well as adults with complex injuries and illnesses The Department consists of a well-equipped five bed unit and one isolation room with all the latest equipment. It also has a crash cart with the latest defibrillator.
There is also a major emergency procedure room with all equipment’s required to provide to any and all necessary emergency surgical services to the patient at any time of the day Located adjacent to the Radiology and Imaging department, the patient can be easily diagnosed for any kind of complex injuries without much movement and loss of the time in the hospital. It has two dedicated stretcher elevators to enable transfer of patient to the operating room and intensive care unit.
The availability of a well-trained and round the clock trauma care team and medical personal ensures that even the most serious cases can be properly attended. Availability of ambulance facility enables access to any medical emergency without any delay Ambulance is equipped with basic life support system

Critical Care Unit

BAPS Shastriji Maharaj Hospital is having State of the art ICU with all modern equipment’s. Round the clock qualified doctors are available in the ICU. Each ICU bed is in cubicle forms which help in minimizing cross infection. We have dedicated and advance burns care unit with Complete Positive pressure to avoid infection in severely burns patient. We have separate Isolation ICU with negative pressure to take care of epidemic like Swine Flu.

Operation Theatre

Our OT complex has 4 dedicated Operation theatres with HEPA filters and positive pressure system to prevent any infections. The Operation Theater Department consists of three major operation theaters and one for performing endoscopy. Specialists in surgical branch, anesthesia and skilled nursing and support staff strive to deliver complete care and cure to the patients not only in the operation theatre but also beyond pre-post- operative period. With advanced technological backup and immense expertise the department is fully equipped to handle any minor, major supra major surgeries.
Three operation theaters are equipped with,
  • Laminar flow air conditioning system with HEPA filters.
  • Power lines, communication lines and gas lines running through the ceiling pendants.
  • OT room control panel built with features like clock, OT lapse time clock, dimmer for planar and peripheral lights, hands free telephone, medical gases status / alarm and indicators for temperature and humidity.
Electronically controlled operating tables and accessories to cater to various types of surgeries. Our Recovery Room unit consists of four beds, fully equipped for continuous monitoring and management of the patient along with other paraphernalia for support during critical hours. A trolley system is used for the smooth transfer of patients from bed to trolley to OT table and vice versa. It helps in reducing patient fall.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Our two baby-unit for NICU is developed for new born babies who need intensive medical attention due to premature birth, low birth weight, heart problems infection or birth defects we provide specialized care for the following,
  • Our NICU has round the clock team of dedicated nursing staff and neonatologist specially trained in neonatal care
  • Air Conditioning system with HEPA Filters to provide infection-free environment
  • NICU isolation consisting of two baby- unit to prevent cross infection
  • Latest equipment like mechanical ventilation, high frequency ventilation, bubble CPAP, baby blanket and LED phototherapy and other paraphemalia for support during critical hours.
