New admissions for next academic year begin in December of every year. The classes commence in June. This admission is based purely on a preliminary test and interview with the parents.
Guidelines for parents:
  • Parents are requested to come with their wards and bring a photocopy of marksheets, birth certificate and other required documents, if any.
  • For admission in Nursery, interview of parents and student is taken.
  • Preliminary Test for Junior & Senior K.G. is taken just to judge the aptitude of the child. He should have some basic knowledge of colours, fruits, matching the figures, numbers, etc.
  • Children from Hindi/Gujarati medium schools may be eligible for admission in Jr. & Sr. KG in our English medium school.
  • The parents have option of bus or van for transportation. The transport fare depends on the distance of the house from the school premises. Parents are free to make their own arrangements for transportation.
  • Minimum age of a child for Nursery is 3 years; for Jr. K.G. 4 years; and for Sr. K.G. 5 years, and so on, adding one year for each higher class.
  • As per the rules of government, the minimum age of a child to get admission in standard I is 6 years.
 
Documents required for admission :
  • Std. I to IX
    a) Proof of Age
    b) Govt. authorized certificate/document for SC/ST/OBC, if applicable
    c) Progress Report & Transfer Certificate from previous School
    d) Character Certificate from last school attended
  • Coming from abroad
    Progress Report & Transfer Certificate from previous School, with an endorsement from the Embassy certifying that the child is coming to India for education purposes
  • Common for All
    a) Two passport size photographs of child
    b) One passport size photo of mother and father
    c) One passport size photo of an authorized person who can take the child in the absence of the parents (Specially for Boarders)
School Rules
  1. A candidate who has attended any recognized school cannot be admitted without a leaving certificate from that school and in case candidate studying outside Surat district this certificate must be counter signed by the Inspector of school of the district from where they come.
  2. A candidate who joins fresh from home or private school has to produce an official Birth Certificate (such as Municipal / Panchayat) in support of the date of birth entered in the admission form.
  3. Name of the pupils who have been absent in school for one month without notice are struck off from the register.
  4. Students who do not attend the school on the appointed day after vacation may have to pay the entrance fee again, unless previous notification has been given.
  5. Minimum 90% of attendance is compulsory throughout the year.
  6. In case the parents decide to withdraw their child from the school, notice in writing will be required one month before.
  7. The student's final exam results, marks sheet, transfer certificate, etc. will not be issued unless all the dues are cleared.
  8. The school management reserves its right of decisions which will be binding to all students and parents.
  9. Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation of the students will be achieved through cycle tests and quarterly assessment by the class teacher on scholastic and non-scholastic parameters. The cycle tests will be conducted without prior notice.
  10. The result of each term will be given on the basis of continuous comprehensive evaluation.
