Introduction

BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Surat was inaugurated by His Holiness Mahant swami Maharaj on 12 December, 2016 with a vision to fulfill Bramswarup Pramukh Swami Maharaj's wish to shape the young minds into good listeners, good thinkers and good writers who can contribute to society positively.  
At BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Surat we believe that all-round education comprises academic excellence, blended with ethics, virtuous character and noble values. Our vision is to provide students quality education embedded with sanskar and make them responsible individuals.
BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Surat (SVM) constantly endeavors to be a prominent educational institution. Within very short span of time it has become an excellent place for learning for children. Students are trained in science, arts and encouraged in extra-curricular activities. SVM has primary to higher secondary education facility for boys for Gujarati and English medium, affiliated with Gujarat Secondary Education Board (GSEB).

Higher Secondary Section: Classes XI & XII (Commerce & Science Stream)
પ્રાથમિક વિભાગ: ધો.૧થી૮ગુજરાત માધ્યમિક શિક્ષણ બોર્ડ (GSEB) દ્વારા માન્ય અભ્યાસક્રમ
માધ્યમિક વિભાગ: ધો.૯ અને૧૦ ગુજરાત માધ્યમિક શિક્ષણ બોર્ડ દ્વારા નિર્ધારિત NCERT પરીક્ષણ પધ્ધતિ મૂજબ વિદ્યાર્થીનું મૂલ્યાંકન કરવામાં આવે છે.
ઉચ્ચતર માધ્યમિક વિભાગ: ધો.૧૧, ૧૨ (સામાન્ય પ્રવાહ, વિજ્ઞાન પ્રવાહ)

Primary sec. Std. 1 to 4 (Gujarati medium): 12:40 pm to 4:40 pm
Upper pri. & sec. section Std. 5 to 10 (Eng. and Guj. Med.) : 07:40 am to 3:00 pm
Higher Sec. Std. 11 & Std. 12 (Eng. and Guj. Med.): 7:30 am to 12:40 pm
Office Timings: Monday to Saturday 09:00 am to 01:40 pm
Note: Parents can meet the Principal and teachers on working days between 02:00 pm to 03:00 pm.
