What is Pulmonology?

Pulmonology is the branch of medical science that deals with the functioning of the respiratory system, lungs and the bronchial tubes. It is usually considered to be a specialty of internal medicine, although it aligns with intensive care, emergency care and cardiothoracic surgery.
