Balika Parayan

The theme for this year's balika parayan in Ahmedabad was 'The Toys World,' the stage was decorated with toys and playthings to make the parayan a fun occassion. The balikas and parents were pleased with the parayan and learned more about incorporating satsang values from a young age into their lives.

In a grand diksha mahotsav held at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Shahibaug in the presence of guruhari Pramukh Swami Maharaj, 73 educated youths embraced the path of renunciation. In all, 28 youths were initiated as parshads, while 45 were initiated as sadhus. Pramukh Swami Maharaj personally blessed each youth individually with a diksha mantra.
