WSRO Regional Championship 2023: Celebrating Student Excellence
Competitions are a powerful motivator, encouraging students to perform at their best, strive for excellence, and gain valuable experience beyond just winning prizes. They offer participants the opportunity to showcase their skills, evaluate outcomes, and discover their personal aptitude. In line with this spirit, students from classes 6th to 9th participated in the WSRO Regional Championship 2023, held at GEMS Genesis International School on Friday, April 28, 2023.
In the Balloon Car challenge, students from class 6th, including Dharmi Baldaniya, Ojswini Panchmatiya, Pal Patel, and Bhavya Kaneriya, exhibited commendable performance, securing the 1st Runner-Up position.
Meanwhile, class 7th students, Aayushi Parmar, Ishita Marwadi, Krishna Zala, and Aerna Pandya, also participated in the Balloon Car challenge, achieving the well-deserved 2nd Runner-Up position.
The ingenuity of Prisha Parmar and Kimi Patel from class 9th shone in the Young Scientist challenge. Their obstacle-avoiding robot was a masterpiece, securing the 2nd Runner-Up position.
In the same challenge, class 9th students Yesha Patel and Hardi Vaghani crafted an Automatic Sanitization Machine, delivering a commendable performance.
In the Robo Race competition, students from class 8th, including Salvi Patel, Niyati Kachhiya, Mannat Mangukiya, Zeel Vadodariya, Dhairya Ladani, Meshwa Patel, Naiya Patel, and Mahi Valand, displayed exceptional teamwork and performance.
The dedication and enthusiasm of all participating students have brought honor to the school, and their achievements reflect their commitment to excellence.
