Brahmaswarup Shastriji Maharaj, an ardent promoter of Akshar Purushottam Siddhanta, was born on the auspicious day of Vasant Panchami. His birthday is celebrated with great devotion in BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha.
This year also, on 5/2/22, on the auspicious day of Vasant Panchami, the teachers and students of the school celebrated this occasion with glory and devotion.
Students of Std. 5 to 8 introduced Shastriji Maharaj through his childhood incidents. Then, the glory of Shastriji Maharaj’s work and contribution was perceived through a video by the students.
This was followed by Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj’s favourite and Param Pujya Pramukh Swami’s self-sung kirtan - “Shastriji Maharaj no sang” was recited. A group discussion,wherein the students made an exemplary presentation, was organised for Class 9 to 12 on the subject of “The work of worshipping Shastriji Maharaj and Influence”, based on the following points:

In the evening the celebration was carried out in a beautifully decorated Yogi Prayer Hall along with a rangoli in the entrance symbolic of his birthday celebration. Students enjoyed the programme with a singing, dance, pravachan, a special representation of his entire life on scale along with some of the rarely-known incidents of his life. The celebration concluded with the blessings of Pragat Brahmaswarup Mahant Swami Maharaj and recitation of Ashtakagan of Shastriji Maharaj.
