A grand Kirtan Aradhana was organised on 23rd April, 2022, by BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan. The programme was held in the Central Lawns with over 145 students participating enthusiastically. The esteemed presence of Campus Director Dr. Neeta Shah, Academic Director Dr. Mithun Khandwala, Assistant Director Bharat Mavadia and Gruhmata Nitaben Ranpurwala raised the spirits of the students who had managed the entire event.
The stage was beautifully adorned with the murti of His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj seated on a hindola at the centre stage. It is he who has spread the fragrance of devotion in this campus and thus, this kirtan aradhana turned to be a musical tribute to him on his birth centenary celebration. The students of this school are enriching their lives with the very same fragrance of devotion, punctuality and sacrament. This Kirtan Aradhana stands as an exemplar of these virtues. The students sang the pads scripted by the prominent santos who have poetically described each and every feature of Bhagwan Swaminarayan. Time and again our Gunatit Gurus have emphasised upon performing Navdha Bhakti. This kirtan aradhana symbolised the navdha bhakti of our students in reverence to our beloved Guru.
Towards the end of the programme, Neeta Ma’am, in her address, pointed out how the students have developed holistically - in education, devotion and morality, here as envisioned by Pramukh Swami Maharaj. She added that the eternal peace felt in the campus is solely due to the presence of divine energy of Pramukh Swami Maharaj. It is his divinity that inspires thousands connected to the campus and beyond to lead a virtuous life.
After the kirtan aradhana, the students danced to the beats of Garba. The kirtan aradhna served as an important turning point for their disciplined routine life.
